FILE v3.33COMPILED 2026-10-09NO COOKIES · NO TRACKERS · NO ACCOUNTS

A public record of howU.S. surveillance is expanding, and exactly how sure we are.

Contracts, court rulings, data sharing, face recognition, and license-plate cameras, 2025 to now. Each fact is its own entry, tagged verified, partial, or retracted, and opens to its source chain: the court, the docket number, the exact quote.

When we get something wrong, the correction is published as a before and after. What we couldn't verify is listed, not hidden. Not a news site. Not a campaign.

86 verified
A primary document or named outlet, fetched directly.
11 partial
Real, with a gap that is stated.
3 retracted
Checked and pulled, or never supported. Kept visible so it isn't repeated.
24 entries tied to one place, cycling. All of them are on the map.

v3.32

Corrected

The D.C. Circuit did rule on IRS-to-ICE address sharing

Was

Retracted as "D.C. court initially allows IRS sharing" (Feb. 25/26, 2026) because no matching ruling had been found.

Now

On Feb. 24, 2026, the D.C. Circuit affirmed the denial of a preliminary injunction and held that federal tax law permits IRS to disclose taxpayer addresses to ICE only in response to written requests that meet the statute's requirements.

Retracted as "On Feb. 24, 2026, the D.C. court initially allowsCircuit affirmed the denial of a preliminary injunction and held that federal tax law permits IRS sharing" (Febto disclose taxpayer addresses to ICE only in response to written requests that meet the statute's requirements. 25/26, 2026) because no matching ruling had been found.

Why: The ruling is Centro de Trabajadores Unidos v. Bessent, No. 25-5181. A later D.C. Circuit opinion cited it, leading us to the full opinion. The old date and "initially allows" wording were inaccurate, but the underlying event was real.
